Links and inspiration:
Instead of keeping all my bookmarks hidden away from the world, i’d like to share some sites that I have found, photographers that are an inspiration, or photographers that just have great images. I’ll add more when I can, but there are a few here to be getting on with.
If you’re not inspired by other people and styles there is something totally wrong with you!

File Magazine: www.filemagazine.org – File magazine is a great collection of the just plain weird images, or as they put it: “Alternate takes, unconventional observations, odd angles — the photographs in the collection reinterpret traditional genres”
Chase Jarvis: www.chasejarvis.com - If you’re a photographer and you havn’t heard of Chase, you should be ashamed! One of my all time photographic hero’s, the right attitude and icon is his field. Thanks for the inspiration Chase.
One Exposure: 1x.com – Just a great (and large) selection of amazing photographs. I’m a member of this photographic community. I just can’t get enough of this site, truely amazing photographs – inspiration for any photographer.
Galen Rowell: www.mountainlight.com - Amazing landscape photographer, the Ansel Adams of colour photography.
Rarindra Prakarsa: Prakaras on photo.net - Interesting mix of photography and p/p manipulation and effects. Amazing scenes and use of light and colour.
Flak Photo: www.flakphoto.com - As they put it: “These images erase traditional boundaries between art, document and snapshot to point towards the future of contemporary photomedia.”
Troy Paiva: www.troypaiva.com – This photographer uses a couple of strobes and gels to light all sorts of features, like disused buildings, broken cars and weird places. Quite interesting.
Siobhán Bromley: www.siobhanbromley.co.uk – Beautiful fluid illustrations with organic shapes and imaginative images.
Angela Bacon-Kidwell: www.angelabaconkidwell.com – Amazing photography, dark moody and emotional.
Just an awesome story, there are some amazing people out there.
