Yep I added lots of vignetting, it seems to have become a bit of a style of mine... as well as everything sometimes looking abit 50's, i'm getting a bit obsessed! I just recently bought it and I agree it's geared for beginners but I love it. I especially like his Project 7, 8 and 11 - I find that useful as I'm a newbie myself. I'm a visual person so the book helps. If it were written in a cryptic way full of technical jargons, I would hate it. Anyhoo thats not why I wrote.
