Long exposure of the ocean – Seychelles

On the ocean - Seychelles

This is probably one of my favourite images I have taken, perhaps because when I was there I had an amazing time, the colours and light was fantastic. I was using a ND filter, with my 10-20mm Sigma lens on my 40D, as well as a polariser. I think it was about a ten second exposure, to try and get the waves and splashes as silky as possible without losing the texture of the sea, it really brings out the colour of the ocean too. I really enjoyed taking this photo, I went down to the pier almost everynight, incredibly magical place to be watching the sun go down. Miss it already!
